LitWork uses location data to help you discover nearby Black-owned businesses. You can:

- Turn off location services while still using other app features

LitWork is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.
8. Third-Party Services
Our app integrates with third-party services including:

- Sign in with Apple/Google: Authentication services

11. Delete Your Account
🗑️ How to Delete Your LitWork Account
You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. Here's how:
Option 1: Delete from the App (Recommended)
- Open the LitWork app
- Go to Profile (tap your profile icon)
- Tap Settings (gear icon)
- Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
- Confirm your decision when prompted
- Your account will be permanently deleted within 30 days
Option 2: Request Deletion via Email
Send an email to support@litwork.info with:
- Subject: "Account Deletion Request"
- The email address associated with your LitWork account
- Your full name as it appears on your profile
We will process your request within 7 business days and send confirmation once complete.
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
- Your profile information (name, email, phone, photo)
- Your business listings (if any)
- Your reviews and ratings
- Your messages and chat history
- Your booking history
- Your order history
- Your saved favorites and preferences
What May Be Retained
Some information may be retained for legal or business purposes:
- Transaction records (for tax/legal compliance) - up to 7 years
- Anonymized analytics data (cannot identify you)
- Communications related to disputes or legal matters
Important Notes
- Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
- If you have an active subscription, it will be cancelled
- Any pending transactions will be completed before deletion
- You can create a new account at any time with the same email
